Extendable collar and floating, removable lid accommodates oversized loads. External front pocket features a weather-resistant zipper; internal watertight pocket is designed for maps or important documents. Flexible backpanel moves with you while providing lightweight support for heavy loads. High-performance Cordura nylon resists abrasions, tears, scuffs and punctures. Hydration-compatible design features reservoir pocket and drink tube exit port for on-the-go hydration (reservoir sold separately). Molded padding on backpanel is shaped to provide comfort while promoting cooling airflow; mesh lining helps wick moisture away. Quick-adjust sternum strap features an emergency whistle integrated into the side-release buckle. Reinforced tool attachment points let you secure your ice tools or trekking poles; pack body is reinforced along tool lines for longevity. Side compression straps secure both large and small loads for increased stability. Top lid features a weather-resistant pocket on the outside and a zippered mesh pocket on the underside; four cord loops on top offer lashing points. Unique floating suspension system allows for customized fitting of shoulder harness; hipbelt can be removed for ultralight summit attempts.
